What personally identifiable information
do we collect, and when do we collect it?

We collect personal information from you when you choose to apply for a job with us, engage in correspondence with us regarding any questions you may have, or express an interest in receiving additional information from us about WDR and our offerings. In such situations, we may ask you to voluntarily provide personal information – such as your name, contact details, or company name.

When you register on WDR Sites, we ask for your first and last name, email address, phone number, and company.

When you visit WDR Sites, we keep track of your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address. An IP address is a unique string of numbers that is assigned to your computer by your Internet Service Provider. Web servers automatically identify your computer by its IP address. Your IP address also may be used to gather broad demographic information.

Instead, cookies merely recognize your browser. By using cookies, we can optimize experience on WDR Sites. We may use both session cookies and persistent cookies to tell us how and when you interact with WDR Sites. We may also use cookies to monitor aggregate usage and web traffic routing in order to customize and improve our WDR sites. Unlike persistent cookies, session cookies are deleted when you log off from the WDR sites and close your browser. Although most browsers automatically accept cookies, you can change your browser options to stop automatically accepting cookies or to prompt you before accepting cookies. Some third-party service providers that we engage (which may include third-party advertisers) may also place their own cookies on your browser. In some cases, we collect and store information about where you are located, such as by converting your IP address into a rough geolocation. We may use location information to improve and personalize our services for you.

We may gather demographic information from you (for example, your age) from time to time. We will not share such information with any other person or entity in a manner that identifies you as an individual, unless we let you know that at the time of collection or we have your permission.

We may use third-party advertising companies that use tracking technologies to serve our advertisements across the Internet. These companies may collect information about your visits to the WDR Sites and other websites and your interaction with our advertising and other communications. These advertising companies serve ads on behalf of us and others on non-affiliated sites, and some of those ads may be personalized, meaning that they are intended to be relevant to you based on information collected about your visits to the WDR Sites and elsewhere over time. Other companies may also use such technology to advertise on our WDR Sites.
You have the choice to tell us not to collect and use this information, and in some jurisdictions, we will only engage in interest-based advertising if you opt-in. If you would like more information about this practice and know your choices concerning interest-based ads, visit:
